Eligibility: Full-time faculty members at our university may apply. A faculty member may serve as the principal investigator on no more than one YÖK-ADEP project and as a researcher on no more than one other project at the same time.

Project Budget: The annual budget ceiling is 4,500,000 TRY, including VAT.

Project Duration: The project duration is a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months. For multi-year projects, budget projections for subsequent years must be submitted during the proposal phase. (For 18-month projects, the budget request for the final 6 months may not exceed half of the annual cap.)

Application Schedule: Applications must be submitted within the schedule announced by the Research and Project Support (BAP) Commission and only during the specified call periods.

Projects proposed for funding are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Inclusion of master’s and doctoral fellowship support, as well as the employment of postdoctoral researchers, for the purpose of developing human resources;

• Emphasis on the potential for projects to evolve into international collaborations;

• Priority given to projects whose outputs have the potential for high-quality publications;

• No allocation of project budgets toward the purchase of machinery, equipment, and fixed assets intended to build infrastructure;

• Planning of projects in a way that supports the participation of international researchers.
