The evaluation process for project applications is conducted in accordance with the “Procedures and Principles Regarding the Research Universities Support Program,” which was approved by the Higher Education Executive Board at its meeting dated April 20, 2022, No. 2022-16.

1. Following evaluation by the BAP Commission, project applications are recommended to the Office of the Rector along with the Commission’s findings.

2. After evaluation and prioritization by the Office of the Rector within the framework of the draft budget ceiling and the “Performance Monitoring Criteria for Research Universities”, selected projects are submitted to the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). YÖK may request revisions to project applications when deemed necessary.

3. Projects deemed eligible for support take effect following the allocation of funds by the Presidency of Strategy and Budget (CBSBB).
