Assoc. Prof. Dr. Damla Eroğlu Pala Receives 2025 TTGV Dr. Akın Çakmakçı Pioneer Researcher Award!
Associate Professor Dr. Damla Eroğlu Pala, from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Boğaziçi University, has been awarded the Dr. Akın Çakmakcı Pioneer Researcher Award by the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV).
Presented to academic researchers who have led transformative change in Climate Technologies over the past five years, the award recognizes Assoc. Prof. Eroğlu Pala for her innovative work on lithium–sulfur batteries and next-generation battery technologies, which directly contribute to energy storage solutions critical for combating climate change.
We congratulate our academic on this outstanding achievement and wish her continued success in her contributions to science and a sustainable future.

Doç. Dr. Banu İyisan Awarded L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women In Science!
