Boğaziçi University’s Center for Climate Change and Policy Studies (İklimBU) has been awarded the Mehmet Şuhubi Pioneering Civil Initiative Award by the Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye (TTGV). The award honors civil initiatives that strengthen the science–policy–society interface and set an example through interdisciplinary and high-impact work in the fight against climate change. İklimBU was recognized for its leading role in bringing scientific evidence into decision-making processes and public discourse. The award was received on behalf of the Center by Prof. Levent Kurnaz, Director of İklimBU, together with team members Dr. Tufan Turp and Dr. Nazan An. We congratulate the Center on this achievement and wish continued success in its efforts toward a sustainable and resilient future.
