YÖK-ADEP 2027 Project Proposals Launched!
The application period for the 2027 project proposals under the Research Universities Support Program (ADEP), conducted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), is now open.
As of this period, university-specific priority area restrictions applied in previous years have been lifted. Project proposals are now strictly required to align with the Twelfth Development Plan (2024–2028) priorities.
📅 Application Timeline
- Application Start Date: July 1, 2026
- Application Deadline: August 31, 2026
✅ Program Scope
- Project Duration: 12 - 24 months
- Project Budget: A budget opportunity of up to 4,500,000 TL per year is provided for each project.
- Submission Method: Completed application documents must be submitted via email to yokfunding@bogazici.edu.tr.
🔍 Priority Areas and Sectors
Project proposals are expected to clearly demonstrate their alignment with the following core pillars of the Twelfth Development Plan within the application text:
- Policy Priorities: Green/Digital Transition, Circular Economy, Combating and Adapting to Climate Change, Disaster Resilience, University-Industry Cooperation.
- Priority Sectors: Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Electronics, Machinery, Electrical Equipment, Automotive, Rail System Vehicles.
- Development Areas: Agriculture and Food, Energy, Defense Industry, Tourism.
⚠️ Critical Criteria
- Project budgets must include funding for graduate students (Master's/Ph.D. scholarship support) and post-doctoral researchers.
- Project outputs are expected to hold strong potential for transition into international projects and high-quality scientific publications.
- Budget plans must NOT be allocated towards infrastructure, machinery, or equipment procurement.
