The "PRESTIJ" 2026 Research Fellowship Program, organized by the Embassy of France in Turkey to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two countries, is now open for applications.

The program aims to support both young and senior researchers in conducting high-level scientific stays at research institutions in France and to foster collaborations susceptible to applying for PHC Bosphorus or Horizon Europe funding.

While the program is open to all disciplines, priority is given to areas such as Digital Transition, AI, Quantum Technology, Biotechnology, Health, Environmental Transition, and Natural Risks.

• Application Deadline: 23 January 2026
• Announcement of Results: From 16 February 2026
• Mobility Period: 15 March 2026 – 31 December 2026

✅ Eligibility

• Young Researchers: PhD students enrolled in a Turkish institution or researchers who obtained their PhD less than 5 years ago.
• Senior Researchers: Researchers who obtained their PhD 5 years ago or more.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• Duration for Young Researchers: 1 or 2 months.
• Duration for Senior Researchers: 15 days, 1 month, or 2 months.

💶 Funding Opportunities

• Young Researchers: €1,704 per month.
• Senior Researchers: €2,055 per month.
• Additional Coverage: Round-trip airfare, social security coverage, and visa fee exemption.
