The European Commission established "EU Missions" to better communicate Horizon Europe to society and evaluate it against measurable goals. These missions integrate research and innovation with environmental and societal objectives to create tangible impacts by 2030. These missions are:

• Adaptation to Climate Change Mission
• Cancer Missiom
• Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission
• Restore our Ocean and Waters Mission
• A Soil Deal for Europe Mission
• New European Bauhaus Mission

The European Commission is also organizing an info day to promote these missions and improve understanding of them. The 2026 – 2027 draft calls will be discussed at the event.

• Cancer Mission: 20 Ocak 2026 (15.00 – 17.00)
• A Soil Deal for Europe Mission: 20 Ocak 2026 (17.30 – 19.30)

2nd Day:

• 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030 Mission: 21 Ocak 2026 (11.30 – 13.30)
• Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 Mission: 21 Ocak 2026 (15.30 – 17.30)
• Cross-mission activities: 21 Ocak 2026 (18.00 – 19.00)
