Call for 2026 International TÜBA Academy Prizes is Now Open!
The nomination process for the 2026 International TÜBA Academy Prizes has officially commenced.
The 2026 International TÜBA Academy Awards are presented by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) to honor and reward outstanding scientists who have produced original, pioneering, and groundbreaking scientific work in the fields of Science and Engineering, Health and Life Sciences, and Social and Humanities Sciences. The awards aim to encourage and recognize scientific work and the scientific community.

✅ Eligibility Conditions
- The prize nomination are open to all scientists in Türkiye and around the world.
- Current TÜBA members, employees, and scientists involved in the evaluation process cannot be nominated.
- Candidates must not have received any other science award from public institutions and organizations in Türkiye within the last three years.
- International candidates must have conducted Türkiye-related research, collaborated with scientists/institutions in Türkiye, or conducted joint research with Turkish scientists.
📂 Nomination and Application Process
Candidates may only apply through the following institutions:
- TÜBA Members
- University Rectorships in Türkiye
- Science Academies and Inter-Academic Organizations affiliated with TÜBA
- Scientific institutions such as YÖK, TÜBİTAK, and TÜSEB
The candidate's comprehensive resume (CV) in both Turkish and English must be prepared along with the nomination form. The documents must be sent to the Academy Presidency via email to akademi.odulu@tuba.gov.tr and via postal mail on a USB drive.
💶Prizes
Prize winners will be presented with the following at a ceremony held at the Presidential Complex:
- Total amount of 1.288.000 TL for each category (to be shared among the winners in each category)
- Academy Medal and Certificate
