Applications Open for the TÜSEB 2026-B2 Group B Project Support Program - 2nd Term!
Applications are now open for the 2026 2nd Term of the 2026-B2 Group B Project Support Program implemented by the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB).
In line with TÜSEB’s Productive Health vision, the Program aims to support research and development/product development (R&D/Product Development) projects in the field of health that are focused on products and prototypes, and to facilitate the transformation of scientific knowledge into tangible outputs and innovative, locally developed health products.
📅 Call Timeline
- Pre-Application: 1-13 September 2026
- Full Application: 21 September-5 October 2026
- E-Signature Deadline: 19 October 2026
Applications will be carried out in two stages. Pre-applications will be evaluated according to their submission dates, and applicants will be notified of the results by 21 September 2026 at the latest. For projects whose pre-applications are accepted earlier, the full application system will become available on the date of notification.
📂 Funding Scope and Duration
Under the call, priority will be given to projects focusing on prototype or product development and expected to contribute to the pathway from idea to product.
Applications may be submitted under the following fields within the scope of the 2026-B2 2nd Term Call:
- Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering
- Dental Health and Treatments
- Pharmacological Sciences
- Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices
- Diagnostic Kits
- Medical Device Technologies
Other call fields not included in this call are planned to be included in the first-term calls of 2027.
- Project duration: Maximum 18 months
- The call is intended for projects with a minimum starting Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 3.
- Projects are expected to achieve at least one TRL level of advancement from their starting level by the end of the project. Technology Readiness Level (TRL) definitions are available here.
✅ Eligibility
- Higher education institutions located in Türkiye, including public and foundation universities, public institutions and organizations, and research institutes/centers may apply as project implementing institutions.
- For projects to be conducted at higher education institutions, the Principal Investigator must be a permanent staff member of the relevant institution.
- Researchers participating in the project must be permanent staff members with at least a bachelor’s degree at institutions or organizations eligible to apply.
- Individuals currently serving as Principal Investigator in an ongoing project funded under the TÜSEB Group B calls may not apply as Principal Investigator under this call period.
- An individual may apply as Principal Investigator in a maximum of two projects under this call.
- Foundations, associations, trade unions, cooperatives, chambers, unions and companies, including companies operating within technoparks, may not apply as project implementing institutions under this program.
💶 Funding Amount and Budget
- The maximum project funding amount is TRY 3,000,000, including Project Incentive Payments (PTİ).
- Eligible costs include equipment, consumables, travel, service procurement and other expenses required for research projects prepared by academics and experts.
- Institutional overhead is not provided under this call.
- Costs related to conferences, publications, and intellectual/industrial property registrations may not be included in the project budget.

📝 Application Process
Applications will be submitted in two stages through the TÜSEB Information Management System (TBYS).
1. Pre-Application
At the pre-application stage, the Principal Investigator must submit the following information through TBYS:
- Project Title
- Project Objective, Methodology and Outputs
- Keywords
- Work Packages
- Project Duration
- Estimated Total Budget
- Starting TRL
- Target TRL at Project Completion
No signed documents or physical submissions are required at the pre-application stage. Pre-applications will be evaluated in terms of their relevance to the call fields, the clarity and concreteness of the project objective, methodology, work packages and output targets, and the inclusion of project duration, budget and TRL information.
2. Full Application
Projects deemed eligible following the preliminary evaluation will be invited to submit a full application. At this stage, all technical, administrative and financial components of the project proposal, together with the mandatory documents and annexes, must be submitted in full through TBYS.
At the full application stage:
- All members of the project team must have completed their profiles on the Productive Health Ecosystem Platform.
- The implementing institution must have completed its institutional research infrastructure profile on the Productive Health Ecosystem Platform.
Failure to meet these conditions will constitute grounds for return of the project proposal without further evaluation.
In addition, during the full application stage or no later than 19 October 2026, the “Application Form for E-Signature” must be signed electronically through TBYS by all project team members and the relevant institutional authorities. Applications for which the e-signature process is not completed by the specified deadline will not be evaluated.
