IEEE Turkey has announced the call for its 2025 awards program, conducted to encourage and appreciate scientists and support high-quality work. Aiming to honor researchers contributing to the academic development of our country, applications are now being accepted for the "Research Incentive Award" and "Doctoral Thesis Award" categories.

The application deadline for the award program, which accepts both nominations and individual applications, is set for January 30, 2026 (17:00). The categories open for application, and their eligibility criteria are detailed below:

IEEE Turkey Research Incentive Award For this award, given to scientists residing in Turkey who have performed a significant portion of their post-doctoral research in Turkey:

• Candidates must have received their doctoral degrees on or after January 1, 2014.
• For female researchers, flexibility is provided by adding one year to this period for each birth that occurred after completing their PhD.

IEEE Turkey Doctoral Thesis Award Targeting promising young scientists, this award is given to researchers who have completed their PhD in an IEEE field at a university in Turkey.

• Candidates must have received their doctoral degrees on or after January 1, 2022 at a university in Turkey.
• The graduation year specified in the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Thesis Center is taken as the basis for evaluation.

Additionally, within the scope of the program, the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for original and pioneering work and the "Distinguished Service Award" for voluntary contributions will be presented to candidates determined by the IEEE Turkey Awards Committee.
