Support from TÜSEB B2 Project Support Program for Our University!
The project led by Prof. Türkan Haliloğlu, a faculty member at the Department of Chemical Engineering, has been awarded funding under the TÜSEB B2 Project Support Program.
The project, titled “Network-Based Computational Modeling of Mutation-Induced Dynamic Network Perturbations in Cancer Proteins for Drug Repositioning and AI-Assisted Drug Design”, will be carried out over a 24-month research timeline.
Within the scope of the project, the structural and dynamic effects of cancer-causing protein mutations will be investigated using advanced computational biophysical approaches. Based on these findings, the project aims to develop a novel artificial intelligence-assisted, network-based framework for drug repositioning and rational drug design.
We congratulate Prof. Haliloğlu on this important achievement and wish her continued success in her research.
