10 Projects from Our University Funded under the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program!

The results of the 2026 First-Term Call of the TÜBİTAK 1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program, which aims to support high-quality research and contribute to Türkiye’s scientific and technological capacity, have been announced. A total of 10 research projects submitted by Boğaziçi University faculty members have been selected for funding.

Covering a broad interdisciplinary spectrum, from psychology and engineering to economics and the life sciences, the funded projects and their principal investigators are listed below:

  • Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Göğüş (EQE) - "Quantitative Evaluation of the Effects of Design Approach and Performance Targets on Cost, Post-Earthquake Loss, Recovery, and Embodied Carbon in High-Rise Reinforced Concrete Shear Wall Residential Buildings"
