Water4All Partnership 2025 Joint Transnational Call: Water and Health

The Water4All - Water Security for the Planet European Partnership, co-funded by the Horizon Europe Programme, has announced its 2025 Joint Transnational Call (JTC 2025) on "Water and Health". The call will support research and innovation projects aimed at addressing key challenges related to the link between water and human health, including water quality, contaminants, and water treatment technologies. The call considers the One Health approach and prioritizes the development of water quality monitoring methods.

📅 Call Timeline

  • Call opening: 12 September 2025
  • Submission deadline of pre-proposals: 13 November 2025 (15:00 CET)
  • Submission deadline of full proposals: 13 April 2026 (15:00 CEST)
  • Selection of funded proposals: September 2026
  • Projects start: End 2026 / eginning 2027

Eligibility

  • Projects must be submitted by transnational consortia composed of a minimum of three eligible partners requesting funding from participating Funding Partner Organisations from three different countries.
  • The consortium must involve at least two independent legal entities from two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe associated countries as recipients of financial support.
  • The upper limit of eligible project partners per consortium is 7 (including 1 self-funded partner, if applicable).
  • Applicants from Turkey will be supported under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Programme.
  • Early Career Researchers (ECR): The call includes an additional modality aiming at ECRs holding a PhD obtained after 12th September 2015 (less than 10 years experience).

  • Project duration is 3 years.

  • €190.000 per project
