Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between TÜBİTAK and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) of Brazil, joint research projects will be supported to strengthen scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. Opened under the 1071 Program, this call provides funding for various cost items alongside mutual travel support for researchers.

✅ Eligibility

• Consortia jointly prepared by project teams from Türkiye and Brazil.
• Unilateral applications are not accepted; teams in both countries must submit simultaneous applications to their respective funding agencies (TÜBİTAK and CNPq).
• Applying organizations must comply with the national rules of the TÜBİTAK 1071 program.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• The maximum project duration is set at 24 months (2 years).

Scope:

• Personnel costs.
• Travel expenses.
• Equipment, hardware, software, and publication acquisition costs.
• Consultancy and service procurement costs.
• Material and consumable expenses.

💶 Funding Opportunities

• TÜBİTAK Support: The maximum budget limit per project (excluding Project Incentive Bonus (PTI) and Overhead) is determined within the framework of TÜBİTAK national legislation.
• Projects are based on the "matching funds" principle, where each agency funds its own national team.
