The 2232-B Programme supports young researchers under 40 years of age with international experience to come to Türkiye and continue high-quality research in strategic areas, hosted by higher education institutions, public institutions, research infrastructures under Law 6550, TÜBİTAK centers/institutes, private sector companies with R&D or design centers, and technopark companies.

• Opening: 27 September 2025
• Closing: 24 November 2025 (17:30 GMT+3)

✅ Eligibility

• Age: Applicants must not have reached 40 years of age at the opening of the call.
• Türkiye residence/work: Applicants must not have spent more than 1 year in Türkiye in the last 3 years and must not be working in Türkiye at the opening of the call (force majeure and mandatory military service excluded).
• Experience requirement: Applicants must have at least 1 year of postdoctoral academic/team leader experience or
• Independent research abroad, or
• At least 1 year of post-graduate private sector experience abroad with a total of at least 4 years of full-time R&D experience (maximum 1 year for thesis-based MSc and 3 years for PhD counted in the total).
• Prestige/Institution threshold: Applicants must have been listed in HCR in the last 5 years, or have spent more than 30 months in the last 5 years at top institutions/companies including QS/THE top 100 universities, JRC top 2500 R&D companies, Scimago top 250 institutions, or top-funded Unicorn start-up companies.

📂 Support Scope and Duration:

• Duration: 24–36 months
• Research start-up package, project support, PI grant, family living allowance, health insurance, and travel support.
• Support for up to 5 researchers in the project team (Maximum 2 MSc, 1 postdoc).
• PTI for researchers and institutional share for host organization.

💶 Funding Opportunities

• Research Start-up Package: 2,350,000 ₺
• Research Support: Up to 2,400,000 ₺
• PTI: 2,500 ₺/month
• Host institution share/general expenses: 18,000 ₺/month
• PI Grant (Experienced Researcher): 120,000 ₺/month
• Family living allowance: 12,000 ₺/month
• Health insurance: 370 ₺/person
• Travel support: ticket cost for arrival

📌 Additional Notes:

• Uploading documents to the system is sufficient; physical submission is not required.
• Proposal format must be in English.
• Only one invitation letter from a host institution can be used; assigning an advisor is optional.
