The Transport Research Arena (TRA), Europe’s most prestigious transport and innovation event, will be held in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026. Organized under the theme "Re-Generation in Transport," this major event will host technical sessions and an extensive exhibition area covering all dimensions of transport, including smart infrastructure, sustainable mobility, and energy transition.

The conference has been included in the TÜBİTAK Post-Travel Support program for researchers aiming to form consortia for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 (Mobility) calls. To benefit from this support (limited to one person per institution), participants are required to conduct at least 5 bilateral meetings per day with international stakeholders and document these meetings with evidence such as business cards or photographs. Early application is essential as quotas are limited.
