The Southeast Asia and Europe Joint Funding Scheme (SEA-EU JFS) has opened its 2025 call to strengthen scientific and technological links between Europe and Southeast Asia. The call aims to foster lasting and innovative joint collaborations, accelerating scientific integration between the two regions.
📅 Call Timeline
- International Submission Deadline: 31 March 2026 (14.00)
- Stage 1 National Submission Deadline: 07 April 2026 (23.59)
- Stage 1 National E-Signature Deadline: 14 April 2026 (23.59)
- Project Start: December 2026 (Earliest)
✅ Eligibility
- Proposals must involve at least 3 partners from participating countries. There must be at least 1 partner from Europe and 1 partner from Southeast Asia.
National Applicants:
- Higher education institutions.
- Training and research hospitals.
- Public institutions.
- Private companies (capital companies established in Turkey) regardless of sector and size.
- Foundations, associations, cooperatives, unions, sole proprietorships, and ordinary partnerships are ineligible.
📂 Support Scope and Duration
- Maximum project duration is 36 months.
Scope:
- Personnel, travel, equipment/software, service procurement, materials/consumables (as per ARDEB regulations).
💶 Funding Opportunities (TÜBİTAK)
- Maximum funding per project from TÜBİTAK: €100,000 (excluding overhead & PTİ).
Limits per Partner:
- Higher Ed./Public (Coordinator or Partner): €100,000.
- 100% for Higher Ed./Public; 60% for Large Companies; 75% for SMEs funding rate.
