The PoliRuralPlus project addresses complex rural-urban linkages using advanced digital tools like AI, GIS, and advanced data analytics. Its mission is to foster stronger cooperation and equal opportunities between rural and urban areas.

The "Enhance" Call, launched within this project, funds targeted validation projects that apply, test, and improve the JackDaw AI chat agent, PoliRuralPlus's flagship tool. JackDaw enables stakeholders to interactively explore and analyse spatial data through natural language queries linked to maps.

✅ Eligibility

• Only single legal entities are eligible to apply (e.g., SME, NGO, public authority, research organisation, self-employed natural persons).
• Consortia or joint submissions are not permitted.
• Applicants must be legally established in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
• Current PoliRuralPlus beneficiaries or their affiliated entities are not eligible.
• Only one proposal will be accepted per applicant.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• The estimated implementation period is 6 months (February 2026 - July 2026).

💶 Funding Opportunities

• Up to €25,000 per project (lump-sum).
• Approximately 7 to 15 projects are planned to be funded.

📌 Additional Notes

• The official language for submissions is English.
• The call funds the application of the JackDaw AI chat agent in real European contexts (e.g., policy-making, planning, research). Selected projects are expected to provide structured validation feedback on the tool’s usability, reliability, and added value. Other PoliRuralPlus tools are not in scope for this call.
