King Salman International Award for Disability Research
The King Salman Center for Disability Research is organizing the fourth edition of the King Salman International Award for Disability Research. The deadline for submitting nominations and applications is March 31, 2026.
The award aims to support scientific research, strengthen international collaboration in the field of disability, and encourage institutions to conduct concrete, innovative studies that improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.
💬 Categories and Award Details
Applicants must have authentic, high-impact scientific production published in refereed journals (indexed in Clarivate/Scopus). The award will be granted in the following five branches:
· Health and Medical Sciences
· Educational and Psychological Sciences
· Rehabilitative and Social Sciences
· Adoption of Technology in Disability Fields
· Accessibility
Winners in each branch will receive a certificate, an appreciation trophy, and a cash prize of $133,000 (500,000 SAR). The winners will be announced in December 2026.
