The 37th call for proposals from the IRA-SME (International Research Activities by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) network aims to support international research, development, and innovation projects involving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a self-sustaining international network, IRA-SME’s primary goal is to enable SMEs to acquire technological know-how and enhance their global competitiveness. The call prioritizes R&D-oriented projects, supporting objectives such as the production of new products, improving product quality, and the development of new production technologies.

- International Submission Deadline: March 25, 2026
- National Submission Deadline (TÜBİTAK): April 1, 2026, 23:59
- E-Signature Completion Deadline: April 8, 2026, 23:59
✅ Eligibility:
- SMEs established in Türkiye can apply as the lead organization.
- Higher education institutions, public agencies, and large-scale companies may participate by forming a partnership where at least one SME serves as the lead organization.
- International consortia must include at least one SME from at least two different participating countries.
- Foundations, associations, cooperatives, and sole proprietorships are not eligible under this call.
📂 Support Scope and Duration
- Project duration is maximum 36 months
💶 Funding Opportunities
- Maximum Support per Project: €325,000 (excluding Institutional Share and Project Incentive Bonus).
- Limit per Lead Organization: €100,000 for higher education/public institutions and €325,000 for private organizations
