The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) is a public–private partnership that funds research and innovation projects in pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, biotechnology, digital health, and vaccines.

Through the IHI-funded Trials@Home Project, the aim has been to reduce patients’ physical dependence on clinical centres and facilitate their participation in clinical research by leveraging digital technologies.

Within the scope of the project, the feasibility of Remote Decentralised Clinical Trials (RDCTs) has been assessed.

The Final Event of the Trials@Home Project will take place on 31 October 2025 at the Railway Museum in Utrecht.

The event will offer both onsite and online participation opportunities.
