IKI Small Grants Call 2025
IKI Small Grants Call 2025

The International Climate Initiative (IKI) has launched its "International Calls" under the Small Grants program to support local and regional climate and biodiversity action. This program specifically aims to empower local actors (such as NGOs) in ODA-eligible countries, who are essential agents of change in implementing the Paris Agreement and the Convention on Biological Diversity. The funding covers four key areas: mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation to climate change, conserving natural carbon sinks, and conservation of biodiversity. Projects must be implemented at local, sub-national, or national levels and focus on mitigation, adaptation, carbon sinks, or biodiversity conservation. Pure research projects are not eligible unless they have a strong implementation component.
