The European Commission has published the Destination 1 calls under the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment) 2026-2027 Work Programme. These calls focus on critical areas such as ecosystem restoration, insect populations, deep-sea conservation, and nature-based solutions.
📅 Call Timeline (Single-Stage Calls)

✅ Eligibility
- Universities, research centers, SMEs, industrial organizations, and non-governmental organizations are among the eligible entities that can apply under this call.
- To be eligible, it is mandatory to form an international consortium consisting of partners from at least 3 different countries, with at least one partner being from an EU Member State.
- All stakeholders with project-writing potential or aiming to join an existing consortium are expected to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) forms, prepared in English, to ncpenv@tubitak.gov.tr.
- These forms must be meticulously prepared and filled out separately for each individual call topic of interest to avoid any confusion during the application process.
- While filling out the forms, it is of great importance to include information that is strictly aligned with the "expected outcome" and "scope" sections officially specified in the call description.
📂 Support Scope and Duration
- RIA (Research and Innovation Action) projects are generally expected to last between 36 and 48 months.
