A webinar will be held on February 6, 2026, to launch the "2026 EU Analytical Cancer Report" under the European Cancer Inequalities Registry (ECIR), one of the flagships of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan.

Focusing on "Delivering High Value Cancer Care" and completing the second reporting cycle of ECIR, this new report provides fresh data and insights on timely access to care, providing efficient and evidence-based care, and patient-centered approaches. The objective of the meeting is to present the key findings of this report, which aims to identify trends, disparities, and inequalities between Member States and regions.

The event, attended by European Commission and OECD officials, will feature a video message from Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare Olivér Várhelyi, patient testimonials, a presentation of the report by Francesca Colombo (Head of the Health Division, OECD), and a panel discussion assessing progress in cancer prevention and control.
