The ERC Proof of Concept Grant is available exclusively to Principal Investigators (PIs) who have already been awarded an ERC grant. It is designed to explore the commercial and socio-economic potential of ERC-funded research and to facilitate the translation of innovative ideas towards market and society.

Projects may last up to 18 months, with a lump-sum budget of €150,000 provided per project.
