The European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EP PerMed) has announced the Twinning Call 2026 – Advancing Collaborative Implementation of Personalised Medicine Approaches in Healthcare.

The call aims to accelerate the transfer and implementation of personalised medicine (PM) solutions from one country to another through peer-to-peer exchange, supporting the adoption and capacity building of PM approaches within national healthcare systems.

📅 Call Timeline:

  • Start of the Early Matchmaking phase: 13 October 2025
  • Opening of the call for proposal submission: 10 December 2025
  • Deadline for proposal submission: 26 February 2026
  • Online pitching session: 14-21 April 2026
  • Notification of final results: 06 May 2026

Eligibility:

  • The call is open to local, regional, and national health and care providers legally registered in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe.
  • Partnerships must consist of a "Donor" institution with an innovative solution and one or two "Recipient" institutions with whom this expertise will be shared.
  • The established partnership must be cross-border, involving at least two and at most three Horizon Europe countries.

📂 Support Scope and Duration:

  • Twinning partnerships should last between 6 and 12 months.
  • Support can cover the entire healthcare value chain, including diagnostics, prevention strategies, screening, early diagnosis, new personalised treatments, and patient management.

💶 Funding Opportunities

  • A maximum grant of €50,000 can be allocated to each Twinning partnership.
  • The goal is to fund a total of up to 6 Twinning partnerships.
