The ENVELOPE project, funded by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), has launched its 2nd Open Call to evaluate and validate connected and automated mobility (CAM) services in real open systems beyond 5G. The call invites proposals to utilize APIs/technology enablers developed by the ENVELOPE consortium or to design, develop, and integrate new standards-compliant APIs. Selected projects will develop innovative services verifying B5G network programmability and creating new use cases at test beds in Italy, the Netherlands, or Greece.

• Submission Deadline: 4 February 2026 (19.00)
• Evaluation & Selection: 5 February 2026 – 20 March 2026
• Agreement Signature: 23 March 2026 – 30 April 2026
• Project Implementation: 1 May 2026 – 31 October 2026

✅ Eligibility

• Proposals can be submitted by consortia of up to 5 beneficiaries.
• At least 50% of the consortium partners must be SMEs or large industries.
• SMEs, large industries, research institutes, and universities.
• Entities must be established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• The expected duration of participation is 6 months.

Scope:

• Funding is provided as a Fixed Lump Sum. Payments are based on the completion of the project rather than reimbursement of actual costs.

💶 Funding Opportunities

• Total Budget for OC2: €1,350,000.
• Max Funding per Sub-project: €300,000.
• Max Funding per Beneficiary: €60,000.
• Target Number of Projects: At least 5 projects.
