A physical Info Day and training event will be held in Istanbul on 12 June 2026, hosted by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA). Organized under the “Turkey in Horizon Europe” Technical Assistance Project coordinated by TÜBİTAK, the event will focus on “Preparing Competitive Applications for Europe’s Leading Deep Tech Programme.”

The event aims to strengthen the competitive application capacity of deep tech companies from Türkiye for the EIC Accelerator Programme, one of the key funding mechanisms of the European Innovation Council (EIC).

During the full-day programme, participants will receive comprehensive information on the structure and eligibility criteria of the EIC Accelerator Programme, 2026 updates, EIC Accelerator strategic priority areas, technology positioning at TRL 6–8, the breakthrough innovation approach, scaling strategies, market entry, investor expectations, application and evaluation processes, and common application pitfalls.

The event will also include one-on-one sessions with experts for interested companies, providing participants with the opportunity to receive strategic feedback on their EIC Accelerator short application processes.
