The Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking aims to accelerate the clinical research processes of innovative health technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of poverty-related and neglected infectious diseases. Within the scope of the 2026 work programme, the goal is to strengthen research capacity in sub-Saharan Africa and develop new solutions in areas such as HIV, Tuberculosis, and lower respiratory tract infections.

• RIA Calls (Stage 1) Submission Deadline: March 4, 2026

• RIA Calls (Stage 2) Submission Deadline: September 16, 2026

• CSA Calls Submission Deadline: August 31, 2026

• Anticipated Call Launch: January 2026

✅ Eligibility

• International consortia are eligible to apply. It is mandatory to include at least one partner from sub-Saharan African countries in the projects.

• Universities, research institutes, hospitals, and healthcare organizations can be part of the consortia.
• Researchers applying from Türkiye can benefit from TÜBİTAK’s support and award programs designed to encourage participation in international collaborations.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• While the duration of supported projects varies by call type, they should generally be planned to last between 36 and 60 months
