Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between TÜBİTAK and the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation (NASRI) of Albania, a new bilateral cooperation call has been launched under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Program. This call aims to support joint research projects by providing mutual travel assistance to researchers from both Türkiye and Albania, thereby strengthening scientific ties between the two nations.

The call focuses on high-impact thematic areas including Health, Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Environment, Social Sciences, and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It requires a collaborative approach, where project teams from Türkiye must establish a partnership with a corresponding team in Albania to be eligible for support.

✅ Eligibility

• Projects must be carried out by joint teams consisting of researchers from Turkey and Albania. Unilateral applications are not accepted.
• From Türkiye, higher education institutions, training and research hospitals, public institutions, and private sector organizations are eligible to apply.
• From Albania, universities, private sector, research centers, and institutes are eligible to apply.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• The maximum project duration is 24 months.

Scope:

• Travel Expenses (Transport, Accommodation, Per Diem).
• Scholarship Expenses.
• Representation and Promotion Expenses. (Maximum of 57.000 TL)

💶 Funding Amounts

• The maximum project budget for Turkish partners is 2,000,000 TL.
• The maximum project budget for Albanian partners is 20,000 Euro.
