Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1071 Program, TÜBİTAK and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) jointly launched the 6th call to provide reciprocal travel support for joint project proposals between researchers in Türkiye and Germany. Scholarships and representation/promotion costs are also covered.

📅 Call Timeline:

• Opening: 1 October 2025
• Closing: 30 January 2026 (23:59, Türkiye time)
• Deadline for e-signatures (Türkiye): 6 February 2026 (23:59)
• Expected project start date: January 2027

Applications will be received online via the TÜBİTAK Project Application System within the specified dates.

✅ Eligibility:

• Türkiye: Universities, public institutions, public research organisations, and private sector entities (registration in TÜBİTAK ARBIS required).
• Germany: See DAAD guidelines.
• At least one researcher from Türkiye and one from Germany must participate.

📂 Scope and Duration:

• Duration: Maximum 24 months
• The total duration of international visits must not exceed 90 days per year.
• Travel expenses for domestic field work, non-field activities, and expenses under bilateral cooperation support

💶 Funding Opportunities

• Türkiye: Up to TRY 1,600,000 per project (including travel, scholarships, and representation/promotion costs).
• Germany: Up to €10,000 per year.
