The TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programmes Directorate (BİDEB) has opened the 2025 call for the 2209-A Programme to provide associate and undergraduate students studying in Turkey with research and project management experience. The programme aims to support research projects prepared by students.

📅 Call Timeline

• Application Opening Date: 13 October 2025
• Application Closing Date: 12 November 2025 (17:30)
• Institutional Authority E-signature Start Date: 17 November 2025
• Institutional Authority E-signature Deadline: 24 November 2025

Applications will be submitted online via the TÜBİTAK Management Information System (TYBS).

✅ Eligibility

• Students enrolled in an associate or undergraduate degree programme in Turkey are eligible to apply. Students in Open Education and Preparatory Classes cannot apply.
• Projects must be conducted under the guidance of an academic advisor. A project can have a maximum of one academic advisor.
• An academic advisor can take part in a maximum of 5 projects in the same call period.
• Students can apply individually or in a team with up to 4 project partners.
• Applicants cannot have an ongoing project in the 2209-A or 2209-B programmes within the same application period.
• The same project must not have previously received support from TÜBİTAK.

📂 Support Scope and Duration:

• Research projects are supported for a maximum of 12 months.
• Support is provided for expenses such as machinery/equipment, consumables, travel, and service procurement required for the projects.

💶 Funding Opportunities:

• Maximum 9.000 TL funding.
• The IBAN number entered in the online application must belong to the student project leader.
