TÜBİTAK Defense and Security Technologies Research Support Group (SAVTAG) has opened the call for the "Development of Oils Used in Military Platforms (ASYA)" project under the 1007 Program. The aim is to develop lubricating oils and hydraulic fluids used in inventory aircraft, engine systems, and ground support equipment through R&D, utilizing domestic chemicals to determine unique and national production processes. The project consists of four phases: conceptual design, critical design, prototype production, and test/analysis.

• Call Document Availability Start: 23 January 2026
• Application Deadline: 23 March 2026 (17.00)

✅ Eligibility

• Universities, public R&D units, private entities, or consortia formed by them.
• Institutions must obtain the call document in accordance with the "Defense Industry Security Regulation".
• "Facility Security Certificate" is required for non-university organizations.
• "Personnel Security Certificate" is required for all firm personnel (including couriers) working on the project.
• Applications will be received directly as Stage II Project Proposals.

📂 Support Scope and Duration

• Project duration is maximum 24 months.
• The project will be conducted under "SERVICE SPECIAL" confidentiality level.

Scope:

• Personnel (coordinator, researcher, advisor, scholar),
• Equipment,
• Consumables,
• Service procurement, and
• Travel expenses.

💶 Funding Opportunities

• 10% Overhead (Institution Share) and up to 20% Budget for Continuity of Information and Gains are provided.

• Scholarship Limits (Monthly):
  • Undergraduate Student: 6,000 TL
  • Master's Student: 22,500 TL (Not working) / 6,000 TL (Working)
  • PhD Student: 32,500 TL (Not working) / 8,500 TL (Working)
  • Post-Doctoral Researcher: 43,500 TL.
